Hello and thank you for your interest in joining Thames Philharmonic Choir, an accessible and friendly amateur choir. We are focused on our music and keen to develop our individual voices but, whether you are a longstanding member or plan to join us next week, you will find us an inclusive and supportive group of singers who enjoy each other’s company and sing to a high amateur standard.

We have around 90 members from all walks of life, so why not join us for a session or two to see how you enjoy singing with us and take it from there?

We rehearse at St Margaret’s Church in Putney on Tuesday evenings 7.30-9.45pm and on occasional Wednesdays when approaching a performance.

Membership is open to those aged 18 or older.

Please see below for information on vocal assessments and how to contact us.

Vocal Assessment

Don't worry!

Thames Philharmonic Choir is one of the few amateur choirs that asks members to have a formal vocal assessment.

The vocal assessment lasts about 10 minutes, and involves a warm-up, exercises to explore the range and pitch of your voice, and a short prepared piece of your own choice.

Sight reading isn’t essential.
