Welcome to Thames Philharmonic Choir

We are a vibrant and musically ambitious amateur choir based in South West London. With a repertoire spanning over 800 years, the Choir enjoys performing everything from renaissance polyphony to contemporary compositions and everything else in between. We perform with some of the country’s finest oratorio soloists, orchestras and period instrumental ensembles, both locally and in prestigious London venues. Rehearsals are high energy, high pace and designed to improve vocal technique, expand musical horizons and to share in the joy of communal music making.

Choral Scholarships

Our scholarships are designed for aspiring professional singers who wish to develop their ensemble singing and sight-reading and also broaden their knowledge of choral repertoire. They will take an active role in rehearsals and concerts, and contribute to the social life of the Choir.

Find out about our Scholars here.

We were greatly saddened to hear of the recent death of our President, soprano Kathryn Harries from cancer. For details about her life, click here    Kathryn Harries
